SIG is a tribute to straight, stiff classics. The long radius sidecut and stiff flex on a flat body makes this ski a real bomber for routined skiers. Sigurd Hoel was killed at Moon rocks in the 1940 Silver Skis race. The picture that makes out the motive on these skis was taken at Camp Muir, Mt. Rainier a couple of minutes before his fatal accident. Toni Matt is ready to go, number fifteen has backed out, Sig is number 16. In 1939 Sigurd became the first one to climb Mt. Rainier on skis.
