Double layers of titanal
Using double layers of titanal increases performance on hard packed snow significantly. The skier will get superior edge grip and high speed stability.
Elliptic tip and tail rocker
A relatively low elliptically shaped rocker profile in both tip and tail, combined with minimum camber. The tip and tail rocker adds float on soft snow and provides a reactive feeling on hardpack. The camber increases the stability and versatility of the ski.
Extra thick ABS sidewalls
We use extra thick ABS sidewalls on all Extrem skis, simply because we want our skis to be super durable.
Extra thick steel edges
We use extra thick steel edges on all Extrem skis, because we want our skis to be able to handle tough riding and be grinded over and over again.
Graphite Race Base
We use Okulen Graphite Race Base since we like to go fast!
Poplar Wood Core
Poplar wood has low density and makes a ski very playful. Combining poplar wood with double Titanal layers creates a stable and torsionally rigid ski with low weight.
Renewable energy
We care about the environment. All Extrem skis are produced using local renewable hydropower energy from Jämtland, Sweden.
Rubber Dampening
Most ski vibrations occur in the tip and tail, and then transmit into the center of the ski. To reduce this we use Rubber Dampening in both tip and tail.
Rubber Dampening stringer
To decrease the wood core vibrations we put a Rubber Dampening stringer along the full length of the wood core.
Semi-sandwich contruction
Layer-on-layer construction with ABS sidewalls, where the sides of the topsheet is rounded (Durable Side Construction). The topsheet also meets the steel edges in the tip and tail.
Точно такая же модель, как Project-100, но с более легким и мягким деревянным сердечником. Эти лыжи сделаны по индивидуальному заказу женщин райдеров, вес оскращен на 10-17%. Лыжи удивительно универсальны, прекрасно ведут себя в глубоком снегу и на подготовленной трассе.
Секрет уникальных свойств этой модели - комбинация рокера с остальной конструкцией. Это позволяют без труда делать повороты на жестком склоне и всплывать в мягком снегу.
