BC TAIL
A flat, stiff, tail section with minimal camber that allows strong turn finishes, won't hook up on the steeps, and is a strong landing platform.
FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer)
Fiber Reinforced Polymer - We use mats of this dense material under the binding area to increase screw retention and add rigidity.
HAMMER ROCKER
Hammer Rocker has a very low rise tip rocker, combined with camber back to the tail for amazing edge grip with easy turn entry and flotation.
HRC 48
Our specially treated HRC 48 edges feature a wider profile with larger anchors for greater durability and longer life.
METALCORE
Extra bamboo laminates and a Titanal layer for power, damping, and edge hold.
P-TEX 4000 ELECTRA
Ultra-fast and durable race base with high carbon content. Only available in black due to the carbon, so we die cut logos into this super-base. This stuff is amazing.
QUADAXIAL GLASS
Our custom weave fiberglass creates tremendous torsional stability while allowing easy longitudinal flex to initiate turns and absorb terrain. While more expensive than other bi and tri- directional weaves, it enables us to fine tune the flex characteristics of each ski.
SKIN COMPATIBLE
Low profile tapered tip and notched tail for quick and secure skin attachment.
All Variant113 CAIC Limited Edition sales benefit the Colorado Avalanche Information Center. For every pair purchased, Liberty will donate $100 to CAIC to help continue their valuable educational and forecasting work. The CAIC Variant features unique graphics, and a super fast high carbon Electra 4000 base that will be hand tuned by Olympian and former US Ski Team Member Sacha Gros. All skis will be signed and hand numbered. Only 100 pairs will be produced.
