Cap Construction
Instead of adding extra sidewall material, the topsheet and laminate materials wrap the core of the ski from edge-to-edge. CAP constructions are lightweight, nimble, and more resistant to chipping for increased durablity.

Polyurethane injected core can be combined with a number of materials, such as fiberglass and/or steel fiber, offering reduced weight, good flex distribution, stability, and durability.

Tip & Tail Rocker
Dynastar's most versatile rocker profile features extended camber underfoot, moderate rocker through the tip, and slight tail rocker. Camber provides increased energy, shock-absorption, and edge grip while moderate tip and slight tail rocker provides instinctive turn initiation, easy manueverability, and effortless floatation.
The all-new SALSA BABY ski was developed in association with the highly-acclaimed Terrain Based Learning™ program which has proven to make learning to ski easier and more fun. A specifically designed junior rocker profile allows juniors to use changing terrain to their advantage and makes learning to ski a more intuitive process so progression comes quicker and easier. Featuring just the right blend of rocker in the tip and tail, camber underfoot, and a lightweight user-friendly construction, even the smallest skiers are able to easily pivot, steer, and stop for a less intimidating and more rewarding on-snow experience.
