Tip-Tail Spacer are made from ABS plastic, not UHMW. In this case, ABS is a better bond, meaning your ends will stay together, even after run-ins with rocks, trees and friends.
1.8 mm Edges. Smaller is better? YES. Edges are about 1/8 the total weight of a ski. If you could, wouldn't you make them a little narrower too? And if you tune so much you wear them out, we'll give you a new pair, no questions asked.
Maple Core has the benefits of high strength to weight ratio, while maintaining amazing pop and strength.
UHMW Sidewall. The harder UHMW is closer to the flexibility of the underlying stiff edges. Thus, they bend better together, decreasing internal stresses and elongating ski life.
Elliptical Sidecut allowed us to create a shape where the effective edge gets longer the harder you turn. Result? Ski harder, grip more.
