Everything about the famed Apostle has been supercharged for our carbon-hybrid version. We increased the amount of wood in the core to help absorb the additional vibrations often felt on carbon skis, and then blended the fiberglass construction with 2 layers of pure carbon. The result is a ski that's much lighter and stiffer, but also more intuitive and reliable under pressure.
You will find yourself wanting to ski these in-bounds a lot more than you'd think, but this is a ski bred for the deep backcountry.
